DAY 1
Arriving Kathmandu
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative who will be holding a sign with your name on it. They will assist you with your luggage and escort you to a comfortable vehicle for your transfer to the hotel Mulberry in Thamel, which is one of the most vibrant and exciting areas of Kathmandu.
Thamel is a popular tourist district in the heart of Kathmandu, known for its narrow alleys and bustling streets lined with shops, restaurants, and cafes. It is a hub for backpackers and trekkers, and a great place to shop for souvenirs and gear before your trek. Thamel is also home to many ancient temples and shrines, and a great place to experience the vibrant culture of Nepal.
Upon arrival at Hotel Mulberry, you will have some time to rest and freshen up before the initial group meeting in the afternoon. During this meeting, your trip leader will provide you with a detailed briefing about the trip itinerary, safety measures, and any other important information. They will also introduce you to your fellow travelers, giving you the opportunity to get to know each other and ask any questions you may have. This will be followed by a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, where you will get to sample some delicious Nepali cuisine and immerse yourself in the local culture.

DAY 2
Kathmandu Sightseeings
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will start our day by visiting some of the most famous landmarks of Kathmandu. Our first stop will be Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. This Buddhist temple is situated atop a hill and offers a panoramic view of the city. The stupa is surrounded by several smaller temples and shrines, and it is also home to a large population of monkeys.
Our next stop will be the Pashupatinath Crematorium, which is one of the most important Hindu temples in the world. Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, this temple complex is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered a holy place of pilgrimage. Visitors can observe the traditional Hindu cremation ceremonies from a respectful distance.
After the crematorium, we will visit the Boudha Stupa, which is the largest stupa in Nepal and one of the largest in the world. This Buddhist shrine is located in the heart of the Tibetan refugee community in Kathmandu and is considered a spiritual centre for Buddhists around the world. Visitors can take a stroll around the stupa, spin the prayer wheels, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
In the evening, we will have a traditional Nepali dinner at a local restaurant. The Nepali cuisine is a blend of Indian and Tibetan influences, and it is known for its spicy curries and flavourful rice dishes. This will be a great opportunity to taste the local delicacies and experience the unique flavours of Nepali cuisine. After dinner, you can explore the vibrant nightlife of Kathmandu or head back to the hotel to relax.

DAY 3
Kathmandu to Besishahar (driving by driver)
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Besishahar, a scenic town located approximately 176 km away from Kathmandu.
We will travel by road, enjoying the stunning landscapes and picturesque views of the Nepalese countryside.
The journey will take us about 6 hours, giving us ample time to soak in the natural beauty and stop for refreshments along the way.

As we arrive in Besishahar, we will check into the Hotel Gateway Himalaya, our accommodation for the night. The hotel is located in the heart of the town and offers comfortable rooms and amenities for a relaxing stay.
After freshening up, we will gather for a delicious dinner and have the opportunity to share stories and experiences from our journey so far.

DAY 4
Besishahar to Chame
(self-driving)
After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the Hotel Gateway Himalaya, we will continue our journey towards Chame, a beautiful village located at an altitude of 2,710 meters above sea level.
This leg of the trip is a self-driving experience, which allows you to fully immerse yourself in the stunning natural surroundings of the Himalayas. The journey covers approximately 66 km and takes around 6 hours, but the journey itself is a sight to behold, with beautiful valleys, rivers, and waterfalls dotting the landscape.

We will stop for lunch on the way to refuel and relax before continuing on our journey. By evening, we will arrive at Chame, where we will check into a guesthouse and have dinner. The guesthouse offers comfortable and cozy accommodation, providing a perfect respite after a long day of driving. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and relax before the next day's adventure.

DAY 5
Chame to Manang

After a delicious breakfast at the guesthouse, we will set out for Manang, which is located about 31 km away from Chame. The drive takes us through picturesque mountain roads, with awe-inspiring views of the Himalayas throughout the journey.

We will stop for lunch on the way to rest and refuel.
Upon arrival in Manang, we will check into a guesthouse, where we will be staying for the night.
The guesthouse offers comfortable rooms and traditional Nepali hospitality, ensuring a pleasant stay. You will have free time to explore the charming village and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

DAY 6
Manang to Khansar around drive and back to Manang

After breakfast, we will embark on a scenic drive to Khansar, a small village located at an altitude of 3,734 meters. The drive takes about 2 hours and offers stunning views of the snow-capped Himalayas. Upon arrival, we will take some time to explore the village and its surroundings, taking in the serene beauty of the Himalayan landscape.

We will then drive back to Manang, where we will spend the night at the guesthouse. You will have free time to relax and explore the village, enjoying the laid-back atmosphere and stunning mountain views.
This day is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty and tranquility of the Himalayas, enjoying the natural splendour of this remote region.

DAY 7
Mananag to Besishahar

After enjoying breakfast in the scenic town of Manang, we will begin our journey back to Besishahar.
We will drive along the same route that we took previously, providing another opportunity to take in the stunning landscapes of the Himalayas.
During the journey, we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant and stretch our legs before continuing on to Besishahar.
Upon arrival, we will check into the Hotel Gateway Himalaya, a comfortable and welcoming accommodation option. We will have some time to rest and relax before enjoying a delicious dinner.

DAY 8
Besishahar to Pokhara (driving by driver)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will continue our journey towards Pokhara, a picturesque city located about 107 km away from Besishahar.
As we drive, we will pass through charming towns and lush countryside, enjoying stunning views of the Himalayas in the distance. We will stop for lunch at a local restaurant and have the chance to stretch our legs before continuing on to Pokhara.
Upon arrival in Pokhara, we will check into Hotel Barahi, a comfortable and well-appointed accommodation option. We will have some time to rest and relax before enjoying a delicious breakfast the next morning.

DAY 9
Pokhara to Tatopani

After breakfast at your hotel in Pokhara, meet your driver and board your 4WD vehicle for the journey to Tatopani.
​
The drive from Pokhara to Tatopani takes about 5 hours, and covers a distance of approximately 115 kilometers.
​
The route takes you through beautiful countryside, with mountain views and a range of landscapes including forests, rivers, and waterfalls.
The road can be rough in some sections, so be prepared for some challenges along the way.
​
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant along the route.
Arrive in Tatopani in the late afternoon or early evening, and check into your guesthouse for the night.
​
Enjoy dinner at the guesthouse, and take some time to relax and unwind after the long drive.

DAY 10
Tatopani to Marpha

After breakfast at your guesthouse in Tatopani, get back on the road in your 4WD vehicle and head towards Marpha.

The drive takes about 2-3 hours to cover the 44-kilometer distance, with some sections of the road being steep and narrow.
​
Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the Kali Gandaki River and the surrounding mountain landscapes.
​
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Marpha, a charming town known for its apple orchards and apple products.
​
After lunch, check into your guesthouse for the night and take some time to explore the town on foot.
​
In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and relax in your cozy guesthouse.

DAY 11
Marpha to Muktinath
and around (self-driving)
After breakfast at your guesthouse, get back on the road in your 4WD vehicle and head towards Muktinath.
​
The drive takes about 3 hours, with some steep and winding sections of the road.
​
Muktinath is a sacred pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists, known for its ancient temple and natural hot springs.
​
Spend some time exploring the temple and the surrounding area, and take a dip in the hot springs if you wish.
​
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Muktinath before heading back towards Marpha.
​
On the way back, stop at the scenic village of Jomsom, known for its stunning mountain views and traditional architecture.
​
Return to Marpha in the evening and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before retiring to your guesthouse.

DAY 12
Muktinath to Pokhara

After breakfast at your guesthouse in Marpha, meet your driver and board your 4WD vehicle for the long journey to Pokhara.

The drive takes about 7-8 hours to cover the approximately 170-kilometer distance, with some rough sections of the road and steep mountain passes.
​
Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, as well as traditional villages and terraced fields.
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant along the route.
​
Arrive in Pokhara in the evening and check into your hotel for the night.
​
Enjoy a relaxing evening in Pokhara, with dinner on your own at one of the many restaurants in town.

DAY 13
Pokhara – KTM by flight
After breakfast at your hotel in Pokhara, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Kathmandu.
​
The flight takes about 25-30 minutes, and offers stunning views of the Himalayan mountain range.
​
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel and enjoy a free afternoon to explore the city on your own.
​
Dinner is on your own tonight, so take the opportunity to sample some of the delicious local cuisine at one of the many restaurants in the city.

DAY 14
Kathmandu
After breakfast, you will have a free morning to do some last-minute shopping or explore the city on your own.
In the afternoon, there will be a Tour Closure Meeting where you will have a chance to share your feedback, memories and experiences with the group and the tour leaders.
The meeting will be followed by a Celebration Dinner provided by Off Road Lands, where you will enjoy a delicious meal with your fellow travellers.

DAY 15
Kathmandu
After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
If you have some free time before your flight, you might want to consider taking a short walk or exploring the area around your hotel. Thamel is a great place to explore and shop for souvenirs and gifts to take back home.
Alternatively, if you're feeling tired or prefer to relax before your flight, you could spend some time at the hotel's lounge, lobby, or pool area.
As you reflect on your journey in Nepal, consider jotting down some notes or memories from your trip.
Whether it's in a travel journal, a digital document, or even on your phone, taking some time to record your experiences can help you remember them more vividly in the future.

Self driving will be performed only in rough roads in the mountains, driving on highways such as KTM to Besishahar to Pokhara, Muktinath to Pokhara will be conducted by a professional driver.

Driving hrs might not be exact - subject to traffic, weather conditions and driving speeds.

Valid International Driver’s Licence and Travel Insurance will be required for driving during the 4WD tour.

All cars will be equipped with manual transmission only.

Prices are per person, based on twin share occupancy. The AUD prices are based on USD and calculated at today’s rate of exchange. Every effort will be made to maintain the advertised pricing but any large movement in the exchange rate may require an adjustment. The tour price will be finalised at the time
